Starting School

We very much look forward to your family joining the Lambton Public School community.

Starting school is an extremely important step for both you and your child.  It is our goal at Lambton Public School to ensure that your child feels happy and safe from his or her very first day.  To achieve this goal, we have implemented an extensive information and orientation programme, an ongoing buddy system, and a welcoming approach to your child's first day of school.

We have developed the Kindergarten Parent Information booklet 2025 for your reference. The following resources may be helpful in getting your child ready to start school.

School Uniforms

School Uniform items are available from The School Locker. Their retail store is located at University of Newcastle, 1st Floor/2 Shortland Union Building, University Drive, Callaghan.

The only items available to purchase from the school office are school hats. 

OOSH - Outside of School Hours Care

Lake Mac Newy OOSH provide OOSH care for LPS students both both and after school.
